Gabriel is a fun-loving and energetic two-year-old! Prior to diagnosis. Gabe loved to play outside and got along well with other children.
He loved to be able to play with other kids!

Getting the news that our 2-year-old son had Leukemia, was like someone pulled all of the breath out of my body. I was shocked. My 2-year-old miracle baby could not have cancer. When I was pregnant with Gabe, the doctors thought I had a miscarriage, but I insisted that they check again. They were stunned when they found a heartbeat, and my little Gabriel was still in there, ready to take on the world. So when they told us that he’d need to be treated for cancer, I was shocked but had faith that God was going to take care of him and us.

Since being diagnosed, Gabe missed out on playing with other kids a lot because we can’t risk any illness. We love an isolated life outside of a very close family. We spend a lot of time in the hospital for stays and treatment. Gabe is a trooper! He’s such a brave boy.

Before diagnosis, we planned to take Gabe and his sister Gabrielle to Disney World. He loves Disney! A dream for us would be to take that dream trip to Disney World! We are excited to have Gabe be able to just be a normal 3-year-old, and be able to have fun with his sister as they explore Disney and life outside of the hospital.
