Eliana Barrera is an eight-year-old girl whose life drastically changed when she was only six years old. We were heartbroken when we discovered that she had acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

Before her diagnosis, Eliana enjoyed participating in many physical activities and was set on learning soccer and playing the violin. She enjoyed meeting new people and making friends.

After her diagnosis and during her treatment, she endured a lot of physical and emotional pain. She had to give up on learning soccer and the violin because she didn’t have the stamina or strength to do so. Her self-esteem was also low as she didn’t look like her normal self, and she was afraid of being bullied by other kids for being bald.

It was a very difficult time for Eliana, but with her positive outlook and bravery, she persevered, and we are grateful that she is now in remission. Cancer is a terrible monster that has only made Eliana stronger and more fearless. She finally learned how to play soccer and will soon begin learning how to play the violin.

She will turn nine years old in a few weeks and wishes to go to Disney World for her birthday. It would mean a lot for her to go to the most magical place on Earth and see Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Donald, and all the princesses. She would love to go on all the rides with her brothers and just have a wonderful time!

It would mean a lot for us to see her enjoying herself and being carefree after all that she’s been through. We would be incredibly grateful and are thankful for your consideration.
